I happened to come across my NCMI Bloem notes for 2002. Rob Rufus' contribution proved to be accurately prophetic. And I thought those caught up in this new move of God would be interested to read what he had to say 5 years ago!
- Activate the prophetic-this is the anointed catalyst that bring the immediacy of God into the now.
- There will be a manifestation of the character of Jesus. Don't look back and measure what's happening in terms of the past. Don't let people criticize you and judge you the way you have been.
- We will run and leap over boundaries
- A time of a new move of God with signs and wonders. A spiritual outpouring. Of judgement, of tearing down and pulling up. A time of the fear of God.
Jealousy and comparison is a curse. We will all have a season of blessing. But jealousy and selfish ambition will hinder progress.
1) People will want to wear someone else's mantle and clothes but our significance comes from God.
2) Release from criticism and comparison.
3) Death to the individual. It is a time to look to ourselves. To give attention to what is due. There will be a spirit of order, unity and strength. Then we will move in the promises of God will be ours and we will be a fearless generation. Now we're in a training time a boot camp-a time of preparation and commissioning-a time to go out.
WHY- so that we can conquer new ground-so that many will be saved.
Go back and see the old enemy defeated. God will give you all you need as you go. Ask him what you need to do. There will be an added dimension of signs and wonders, fear of God and a hunger and thirst for God.
But first idolatry has to be abolished-then we will see the manifest presence of God in the church again.
Religion is fashionable and full of idiolatry-Isaiah 2:12. God will shake the whole earth and He will destroy all idols on the planet. In order to usher in the glory of God. There is only one holy and living God- 1 Corinthians 11.
The first sign of idolatry is pride, haughtiness, arrogance and rampant sexual immorality.
Genesis 6- I created you to carry my image in the earth. Difficult questions are simplified in Genesis.
False God's and an average Jesus are causing destruction on our planet.
Remember Genesis 6:5 God owes no man mercy. Gods heart grieves but justice prevails. God doesn't kill the innocent. He suspends judgement for 100's of years before judgement comes-God's judgement comes to all those who do not carry Gods image and glory on the earth. We think that God is endorsing bad behaviour but He wants to find a people who will carry His image, then His judgement breaks out quickly.
Leviticus 9- unsuitable priesthood. God didn't bring Israel out of the wilderness out of pity but to have His purpose fulfilled and His image preserved in people.
Leviticus 10-Aaron's sons take unauthorized fire and die.
Saul an insecure man feared man more than God.
David was a man after Gods own heart because he bore gods image in hi.
1 Chronicles 13- the anger of God burns and seems so unfair. Uza a priest wasn't trained properly to handle the holy things. He took over from God.
Casual shortcuts into the things of God leads to death.
God is going to kill you. Has He killed you yet?
Prophetic word for the nation.
- Because its a new initiative judgement breaks out quickly
- Unprecedented glory, breakthrough and miracles
- What happens when you take communion in an ungodly way? (As a ritual, not as a living reality)
- Acts 4 and 5 Ananias and Saphira.
- New initiatives
- New church beginings
The church grew great and great fear seized the whole church and also those outside the church. in an instant every insecure person was cured.
What is God going to do now in the church?
God will use drastic means to change the church.
The only person God has used unjustly-all His wrath and anger was put on Jesus. We need to fully understand this theology. Unless we know the cross and who our God really is we cannot understand His judgement.
