Face To Face:

 

Key: 1 Jn 4:19 We love Him & other - because he first loved us.

 

Gods Cry:
"Adam where are you" –> not so much about where Adam was & why he could not be found, but the "call" of the Father Heart of God: "where are you" (Gen 3:9).
Please be found / please don't hide – my heart, my heart!!
Heart of God is for us to be in His Presence: He knew where Adam was, He knows where we are -> He wants us to know that He WANTS us in His presence – why He called / still calls out.

 

Man mainly resists but God never forsakes: Deut 31 – Gods promise -> Never to leave us or forsake us -> God's encouragement -> be strong & courageous.
His Heart For His People <-> the Blessing He Instructed:
Num 6::22 The LORD said to Moses, 23 "Tell Aaron and his sons, 'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: 24 "'"The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 ESV = the Lord lift up His countenance upon you / NIV = the LORD turn his face towards you and give you peace."' 27 "So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them."
This was God's instruction to the priests, not the cry of the priests heart / people-> His pronunciation was for intimacy, blessing, keeping, peace & knowledge of His Glory (name) – the "Good Mood" of God was / is / will always be.
(Numbers = "In the Desert" in Hebrew – coz of unbelief & stubbornness to enter the Promised Land – interesting!)

 

Few Key Words broken down:
Lord = Jehovah -> the existing one.
Keep – keep / watch over / guard / preserve.
Face = face / person / presence.
Shine = light / enlighten / illuminate – to become bright.
Lift up = exalt / raise -> His face / presence -> over and above ours!
Peace = Shalom!!!!
Put upon = set / lay upon / direct or point towards / ordain / establish.
My Name = name / reputation / glory = who He is.
That is how He will bless His children – Father gives & stakes His name on / puts it "on" His children.
Speaks of who are we – we are His!!!!

 

This pronunciation / blessing = at the direction of a near / loving / gentle Father – (Israel's history shows that He did not take sin lightly BUT His cry is always "draw near".)
Easy to fix on the negatives BUT the positives far outweigh them – rather lets fix on & believe the positives –> "perfect love drives our fear!!!!" (1 Jn 4:18 – perfect love -> fear -> to do with punishment).
His perfect love drives fear out of our hearts -> IE when we have had revelation of it -> touchy feely experience of it –> our hearts / minds on fire with His presence.
Lets fix on Him -> His presence & not principles about Him / of men (& very thankful we are for all the great teaching that has crossed our intellectual paths).
In His Presence is "sense / meaning" found = IE understanding of who He is & our position in Him -> mainly it being that we are allowed to "know" Him -> tangibly / intellectually / experientially = "the meaning of life".
Jesus -> Holy Spirit : Encounters -> living in us.
Without God / a "knowing" Him, life is senseless.
In amidst the turmoil of life -> "whirlwinds" (Job 42) -> God "speaks" to us -> our Spirits (when we have learned to open their "ears" & trust their ability to hear).
Job – 42:5 My ears had heard of you BUT now my eyes have seen you. 6 Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes."
Revelation -> from the whirlwind's of life -> encounters with God -> fruit = His face / name / blessing upon us -> we change (repent) from who we are without Him (despise ourselves) -> to who we are in Him (love ourselves coz He loves us / loved us first) -> we find His original plan for us -> our privilege of increasing in Glory -> His Name put upon us -> we become His wisdom displayed to principalities and powers -> we become the "God is great" & "God be praised" -> coz of our lives & deeds in Him.
BJ – any area of our lives not in / under the expectation of Glory is under the influence of a lie -> appropriate radically.
Whirlwinds pass & return (good & bad times), but His blessing (word) in our heart / His glory all over us / His promise -> will not only keep us but will make us victors & rescuers -> people of His purpose.
To know God is to flourish!!!!

 

Ps 67: the blessing & the fruit = presence -> praise.

 

His Call To Us -> enter with confidence.
Heb 4:16 – "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need" – context = a High Priest who understands the whirlwinds of life & intercedes (stands in the gap) for those approaching ….
10:19 – seeing that …..
The confident do not bow & scrape in the presence of the King – they walk / live in joy & celebration – approaching the "seat of authority" as legitimate, righteous, heirs -> knowing they are in the presence of the One who has true authority & power to Act.
*** We act from a place of authority coz we LIVE in the Presence of the One who possess ALL authority – at His command -> baptisms (resurrection from the dead – water / Spirit / Fire) -> healing -> deliverance -> Kingdom come!!!! Etc etc.
Enter -> throne room -> with confidence – cos of His Grace -> the fruit / result / product of His love for us who believe.
Can only be done face to face with Him – not thro any mediator -> man or man made.
Once Face to Face -> you don't wont any other interaction with Him -> cast off king & priest -> we have the Perfect One in Jesus.
Come face to face this morning into His presence.
It is sweet -> you will never regret it.
You will never be the same again – that is how He wants us to be.

OH MY GOSH! I THINK I WENT TO HEAVEN!!

Hey Wayno and Jen!

 

Oh my! you guys are gonna be sooo stoked when you hear what happened to me last night!

Last night after you guys left, I went into the office where my mum and Cathy were kinda out of it, sitting in the corner. I sat down in between them and just enjoyed His presence. All of a sudden, everything kinda got hazy, and I could see the office floating, but everything was like see-through. There was a sky, a huge, starry sky and I saw fireworks! They were the most amazing fireworks that I've ever seen in my life!

 I felt myself being lifted uuupppp and there were fireworks all around me the entire time! It felt like I was there for about a year, admiring the fireworks. Then I realized I was on a cloud- a marshmallow cloud. It felt like a giant marshmallow and I was floating for ages.

There was a guy sitting next to me the whole time, sometimes reciting bits of Psalms, sometimes saying, "Look, Jo! Check that red firework!" He was dressed in jeans and a blue T-shirt, and the whole time I felt really safe. Uncle George rates he was an angel, just joining me for the ride. I also saw golden angels, I wasn't sure if they were male or female, but they were always there, also pointing and saying, "Look Jo, look!" At one stage the one angel was singing a song, and he had a voice like Roy Fields, but he was singing a song that I'd never heard before, and he repeated the chorus over and over again, and I was singing with him. I was kinda bummed 'coz I can't remember any of the songs that we sang except Jesus Loves Me. We sang that a lot. I think the angels were carrying my cloud, but I'm not sure.

 One thing I remember a lot was that the guy sitting next to me smelled like vanilla, and I remember leaning into him so that I could smell it.

 Also, I dug through my cloud and I could see down through the hole. I saw a picture of the world, like a sattelite piture of it, and the world was being held by these two hands. The hands had holes in them and the world was kind of being supported by the hands. Then one of the hands moved and the other hand pointed at the world with the pointing finger. But get this, the pointing finger was on fire! and In some places in the world, there were these bombs, and the finger touched the cord on the bombs and they went, "Tick tick tick...BOOM!" And the whole area was on fire! I don't remember all the areas, but I remeber seeing one on the east coast of South Africa, one on Sydney, Australia, one somewhere in China (maybe Hong Kong?) and one somewhere in America. This kept happening, the fires getting brighter and brighter and bigger. 

Then I lifted my head out of the cloud and the hole closed up. I tore a piece out of the cloud and it kinda melted in my hands. It felt like playdough. Me and the angel sitting next to me made playdough shapes! Sounds really odd, but I made a caterpillar shape and he made some kind of horse with the cloud playdough. The whole time there were fireworks everywhere! But really the colours of them were amazing! I've never seen those colours in my life! The one colour was green and red and blue all at the same time!! But it wasn't three sepate colours, and it also wasn't a blend of colours! It's so hard to describe.

I don't know if I told you, but one night after the fire fest the weekend before last, I saw a pillow floating on my roof in my bedroom, a white white pillow just floating in the air. To be honest I thought I was hallucinating and I was just really tired. But then while I was watching the fireworks on my marshmallow cloud, I heard one of the golden angel people say, "Let's show her the pillow thing again." The whole sky was all of a sudden filled with these white pillows, exactly like the one I'd seen before! Then the pillows sort of burst, and there were feathers everywhere! 

I also remember pearls being in my hair, lots of little white pearl clip thingies. I was wearing this white and light blue robe thing, like the bathrobes you see in Jesus movies. 

At one stage, I felt the cloud fly around really fast, like a roller coaster, and then we stopped and we went up! I began to see a white light, a really white light, and a felt a change in the mood of things. I'm not sure why (and I'm practically kicking myself 'coz I did this) but I thought, "I want to go back to the fireworks." We came back down to the fireworks. This happened twice, even though the second time I felt like I was getting ready to go further up.

After what felt like a few days of the fireworks and singing and playing with my cloud, the angel guy said to me, "Ok, it's time for you to take a leap of faith."  I told him I wasn't sure. He said to me that it would be better, and I mustn't worry, because I could come back. So I held onto him and we jumped. It kinda felt like we were falling UP, not down. I saw the world passing us as we were doing the falling up thing, and then I kind of 'came to'. I felt like I'd been away for about a year, but apparently I was only out for about 2 hours, maybe even less. From what I see of what they videoed, I was giving commentary the whole time, but I don't remember anything that happened on earth. 

From what I saw of Bob Jones, and from some of what Uncle George said, I think that I was somewhere in between the second heaven (I think that's like outer space and stuff) and the third heaven (the throne room of God). 

I hope this completely knocks you out! I'm still trying to understand what happened to me!

Authentic Manifestations

Releases a spirit of worship.
A deeper understanding of His glory, majesty, power, dominion, love and grace, naturally release a spirit to worship and glorify Him. We see that most who have an encounter, manifest a deeper worship.

Matthew
8When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.

Points towards Jesus.
Manifestations of the spirit must point towards Jesus. The result must be a deeper sense of Jesus love and Lordship in our lives. Encounters with Him, draw us closer to Him and deepen the intimacy factor in a believers life.

Releases a peace.
There must be a peace that accompanies true manifestations. This is not order; it may not "look" in order or peaceful, by human perception, but there is a tangible peace.
It's important to use the gift of discernment here.


There must be fruit

Fruit of His presence is varied. Some is instant like, joy, peace, laughter, shaking crying etc…
Other signs can be instant too, like healings, gold dust, oil, feather or gems.
Other gifts may not be outwardly seen, like tongues, visions, and other spiritual gifts the Spirit may "hand out". There are other gifts handed out too, things like commissioning and mantles, boldness, wisdom guidance etc…
It's often an inward healing of sorts, like demonic deliverance, breaking of bondages, guilt, condemnation, fear, depression, anger etc…
The biggest fruits are these things, salvations and the changed Christian life.
As in the book of acts when 3000 people were saved when unbelievers saw "drunk" Christians and heard a gospel preached under the anointing.
1 Samuel 10:6 says
"The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you…and you will be turned into another man"
It's impossible to be in His presence and not be changed.


So the authentic manifestations and presence of God produce much fruit, fruit that will last, fruit that comes from being "in Him".

Something I found in a very funny book

When God created the universe, he made something out of nothing, which highlights a major difference between God and people.

When God makes something out of nothing, it is a positive act that brings planets and stars and comets into being.

When people make something out of nothing it usually means they've been spending too much time arguing about the colour of the curtains in the fellowship hall.

Over the years, arguments about matters both trivial and non-trivial have led to the creation of countless denominations.

Although this has created a lot of confusion, it's not reason for despair.

As Genesis says, God brought order to a chaotic, primeval world.

So it's safe to say that God can also work wonders through a chaotic hodge-podge of denominations.

More Fire Fest feed back

 

Hello everyone,

 

My husband and I spent the weekend experiencing a wonderful move of God!
What an interesting time we had. It's so exciting to see what God is doing, first hand. When I think of how far I've come in a year, I can only praise Him for His goodness.

 

A year ago I was miserable and couldn't see how I was going to be able to make it. I had no hope and was extremely cynical and completely disillusioned with church. Slowly God released me from the bonds of religion, of rules and unrealistic demands and set me free to be myself and I fell in love with Him all over again. And as I say I became born again again. Galatians 2:17-20 What actually happened is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God and it didn't work. So I quit being a "law man" so that I could be God's man. Christ's life showed me how and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with Him. Indeed I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me.

 

I soon discovered that I wasn't alone. That many many Christians all over the world felt the same! And God is doing a wonderful thing, restoring the souls of many and renewing their first love for Him. Isaiah 9:2-The people who have walked in darkness have seen a great light. For those that lived in a land of deep shadows-light! Sunbursts of light! You repopulated the nation you expanded its joy. Oh, they're so glad in your presence! Festival joy! The joy of a great celebration, sharing rich gifts and warm greetings.

 

This weekend was a time of renewal, a time of swopping of things such as sadness with joy, turmoil with peace and lies with truth. And then a raising up of the name of the Lord and establishing His authority in our hearts, so that these changes will remain. It was also a time of impartation and anointing. There was also a lot of noise and a lot of fun. The best for me was the wide range of ages of people enjoying this new move of God!

 

I felt that Isaiah 42 summed up what God is doing: Although these words were spoken about Jesus, I believe they are a prophetic picture of what God is doing for and in His children. For this purpose I have substituted he with we.
"Take a good look at my servants; I'm backing them to the hilt. They're the ones I have chosen and I couldn't be more pleased with them. I've bathed them with my Spirit, my life. They'll set everything right among the nations. They won't call attention to what they do with loud speeches or gaudy parades. We won't brush aside the bruised and the hurt and we won't disregard the small and the insignificant, but we'll steadily and firmly set things right. We won't tire out and quit. We won't be stopped until God has finished His work-to set things right on earth.

 

The wonderful thing is that this move and outpouring of the Holy Spirit is for all who want it! Matthew 11:27 "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or Ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

Hi all
 
The second I heard about firefest, I knew I had to be there!
God certainly didn't disappoint as we revelled in His glory, were awed by his presence and drank deep of his mystery.
 
The rational mind has a tendency to want to quantify everything and find reasons and explanations for the things we see and experience.
The inebriated mind just kinda goes with the flow uninhibited.

 

I experienced church like never before, with almost if not all participating and enjoying a wonderful God.

 

God met with me in such a unique way, I sensed his love and his peace in the the most profound way.
Gregg laid hands on me for impartation, asking God to give me what Rory had given him.
As he lay hands on me, it felt literally like hot coals, I felt the fire of God burning in my chest and my palms.
I still feel it any time I think of it.

 

There are too many things to mention and I am still unpacking what I received!
We had a meeting on Sunday in my home, a powerful time worshipping and sharing.
We prayed over each other and the air was thick with the presence of God.
Much prophetic, we prayed for a guy who relies on hearing aids to hear.
He was not healed instantly, but felt the presence and anointing of God like never before.
We Believe he will receive the power of the cross in his ears!
I laid hands on Thomas and he felt the same burning sensation in his chest and hands..on a chilly night, he kept asking us to open the windows as he was "burning up".
My parents are visiting and came home …..then joined us in "the chair" ..got prayed for and PRAYED FOR US.
Imagine that ..getting prayed for by a freemason? ..he just loved it.
My mom gave a very accurate prophetic word and was greatly encouraged.
Both were impacted, wept and felt the presence of God with awe.
Much worshipping, weeping and laughing later, we reluctantly went our separate ways around 11.30

Testamonies from Fire fest

Praise Jesus. Glory to the father. Come Holy Spirit.

 

Here are some testamonies from the Fire fest. God is good.

 

About 250 people came. Over 20 pastors from many flows and denominations.

A pastor friend of mine from a denomination church was profoundly impacted. He brought his entire choir the next night ( average age 80). they were all powerfully effected by the prayer, ministry and impartation.(good thing we have carpeted floors!!)

The presence and power of God was amazing. It literally looked like a bomb went off in the church.Bodies everywhere.

 

"First of all all praise to Jesus. He is wonderful. I was praying for people in the prayer tunnel. Some young folk told me to go in the tunnel for prayer. As i stepped in i fell under the power of God. While on the floor one guy saw my leg grow two inches. I'm totally healed!! Have no pain and can touch my toes!Thank you Jesus." Ron Payn 92 years young!!

 

On two occasions we prayed for people in a coma. Both came out of the coma when we prayed!!

 

One lady was instantly healed, she had a growth that dissapeared.

 

Another person had fused vertabra, and was healed, all pain and symptoms dissapeared.

 

May recieved gifts, some spoke in tounges for the first time. Many had visions and some went into trances.

 

Ann testefied about a healed Thyroid, it was underproducing, and now she has had to stop the medicine that stimulates production!!! Otherwise she gets sick from over production!!

Fire Fest

We have just returned from a "Fire Fest" that was held at Coastlands Church in Port Edward.

It was a wonderful time. God moved with such power and I am sure that one would have to have seriously resisted being touched by the Holy Spirit.

What's weird is that one can usually sense when there is criticism around, and if there was any, it was silenced very quickly.

I think that's what was so beautiful. Everyone there was just so hungry for the presence of the Lord. Apparently there were 20-25 pastors that came.

Young and old all together from every walk of life being ministered too and ministering.

The fire of the Lord came and we were purged. It looked as if a bomb had gone off in the place. There were bodies all over the place. People were getting so smoked, rolling around with laughter. Some were crying. All were worshiping.

What was amazing was that each session, the glory just increased. Saturday evening was mind bending and Sunday morning even more so.

I was talking to Les, Ant's wife this afternoon. She also noted that this is a glory that is increasing. This is New Covenant stuff!!

Below is a vision that my beautiful wife had for our church on Wednesday night. Enjoy.

It went like this: There were these beautiful white wings surrounding us with this amazing light coming off the wings and there was so much warmth and this overwhelming amount of love. The people that were surrounded went from being us to being the world. The heat that came off these wings was incredible.   Psalm 17:8: Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,   Psalm 91:4    He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.   Lots of love Shan

Fire Feastival

Hey guys things are "Heating Up" it really seems that this out pouring of Gods Glory is on the increase. Here at home it has gotten real easy to 'slip' into His presents ..24/7 Yay God!! And more and more are testifying to what God is doing in and through them, it is amazingly Awesome!!!

I have been listening to the latest Pod casts and preaches from guys like Bill Johnson and the guys in Hong Kong with Rob Ruffus, and the same outpouring has been accelerated in those places, with the most insane testimonies of what God is doing.
Where guys have come back from Florida there has been an unleashing of the Kingdom that is pretty much beyond comprehension ......bring it ON!

Mark and Jo:
Our baby Zac was born with a problem with his valve on his heart. Most kids die from this condition by age 10. He is now 10 months old. After many prayers we received a miracle. We were at the specialist pediatrician this week. He said Zac no longer has the problem. He can come off His medication. The the doctor said this “no man could fix this, no medicine could repair it, the grace of God has healed your baby”…Praise Jesus.

(Dave drives 200 kilometers every Sunday to attend church).
Last week I was driving in my car in the Transkei. I saw a lady being pushed in a wheel barrow. I was moved for compassion for her, so I stopped to pray for her. She was not healed, so I took her to the hospital to receive medical treatment. When she appeared before the doctor, she was instantly healed!

Her brother tracked me down, he found me asking “did you pray for my sister…she is totally healed. Later I saw her walking in the streets…!!

Friends I just heard from a pastor friend of mine in Dundee. They have had a move of God for 5 weeks now. Healing and salvations.

He said that one person was baptized in the holy spirit, and God told him to put up a tent on his farn. Many people came to the tent and 170 people were saved in a week!!!

Last night a home cell leader Kathy phoned me proclaiming

“Wayne Wayne, God has just come in my house. His wife was making coffee for the home group, they had not shared the word or anything. Suddenly she fell under the power in the kitchen. Out cold, then laughing, and ten crying and worshipping”

Here is Kathy’s sms she sent me later.

“I need the fire fest. I want more. God touched me tonight like I never thought possible. I still feel His presence. I laughed and cried and worshipped like never before, and He a has done a mighty work in me.”

Isn’t that awesome!!!In her home, no-one praying for her…

Paul from our church just visited there this morning (the next day)…she is still under the power, did not sleep. When Paul arrived she was on the floor listening to worship and crying. When she got up to speak to him she was still drunk and crying…..

These encounters change you forever…enjoy Him Kath!!!

I happened to come across my NCMI Bloem notes for 2002. Rob Rufus' contribution proved to be accurately prophetic. And I thought those caught up in this new move of God would be interested to read what he had to say 5 years ago!

 

• Activate the prophetic-this is the anointed catalyst that bring the immediacy of God into the now.
• There will be a manifestation of the character of Jesus. Don't look back and measure what's happening in terms of the past. Don't let people criticize you and judge you the way you have been.
• We will run and leap over boundaries 
• A time of a new move of God with signs and wonders. A spiritual outpouring. Of judgement, of tearing down and pulling up. A time of the fear of God.

Jealousy and comparison is a curse. We will all have a season of blessing. But jealousy and selfish ambition will hinder progress.

 

1) People will want to wear someone else's mantle and clothes but our significance comes from God.

2) Release from criticism and comparison.

3) Death to the individual. It is a time to look to ourselves. To give attention to what is due. There will be a spirit of order, unity and strength. Then we will move in the promises of God will be ours and we will be a fearless generation. Now we're in a training time a boot camp-a time of preparation and commissioning-a time to go out.

 

WHY- so that we can conquer new ground-so that many will be saved.

 

Go back and see the old enemy defeated. God will give you all you need as you go. Ask him what you need to do. There will be an added dimension of signs and wonders, fear of God and a hunger and thirst for God.

But first idolatry has to be abolished-then we will see the manifest presence of God in the church again.

Religion is fashionable and full of idiolatry-Isaiah 2:12. God will shake the whole earth and He will destroy all idols on the planet. In order to usher in the glory of God. There is only one holy and living God- 1 Corinthians 11.

 

The first sign of idolatry is pride, haughtiness, arrogance and rampant sexual immorality.

 

Genesis 6- I created you to carry my image in the earth. Difficult questions are simplified in Genesis.

False God's and an average Jesus are causing destruction on our planet.

 

Remember Genesis 6:5 God owes no man mercy. Gods heart grieves but justice prevails. God doesn't kill the innocent. He suspends judgement for 100's of years before judgement comes-God's judgement comes to all those who do not carry Gods image and glory on the earth. We think that God is endorsing bad behaviour but He wants to find a people who will carry His image, then His judgement breaks out quickly.

 

Leviticus 9- unsuitable priesthood. God didn't bring Israel out of the wilderness out of pity but to have His purpose fulfilled and His image preserved in people.

Leviticus 10-Aaron's sons take unauthorized fire and die.

Saul an insecure man feared man more than God.

David was a man after Gods own heart because he bore gods image in hi.

1 Chronicles 13- the anger of God burns and seems so unfair. Uza a priest wasn't trained properly to handle the holy things. He took over from God.

Casual shortcuts into the things of God leads to death.

 

God is going to kill you. Has He killed you yet?  

 

Prophetic word for the nation.

• Because its a new initiative judgement breaks out quickly
• Unprecedented glory, breakthrough and miracles
• What happens when you take communion in an ungodly way? (As a ritual, not as a living reality)
• Acts 4 and 5 Ananias and Saphira.
• New initiatives
• New church beginings

The church grew great and great fear seized the whole church and also those outside the church. in an instant every insecure person was cured.

 

What is God going to do now in the church?

God will use drastic means to change the church.

The only person God has used unjustly-all His wrath and anger was put on Jesus. We need to fully understand this theology. Unless we know the cross and who our God really is we cannot understand His judgement.

We just had Bunnies (Indian Dish) with Will, Ray, Jess, Glen and Gregg  ...Will felt to pray for the Hindu owner of the resturant. God's glory was all around, and Jess had some words of knowledge about a neck, back and leg problem .... all were instantly healed!!!

"as I got on a plne to fly to Jhb, i noticed the lady next to me was rubbing a sore knee. After chatting to her i found out that she was a Hindu lady. I offered to pray for here knee. She was instantly healed proclaimin "no way the pain is completly gone". She sat there dazed for a few moments and then said..."actually i also have a hernia, and diabeties, will you heal those too".

I prayed for her again placing my hand on her stomach.

"the hindu lady said " i felt heat and light? enter my body...wow are you a healer?"...I answered "no Jesus healed you"

Just spoke to the methodist minister, he's so excited, the presence of God fell on Him while i spoke to him on the phone, he got in His car and came around, as i touched Him to pray he fell to instantly to his knees!!! He's coming to firefest, and his people too!!

I had the wonderful priviladge to have my first Skype call with Joel Brueseke from "Growing in Grace" http://gigcast.graceroots.org/

 

Joel is from America and I first found his blog "Grace Roots" http://blog.graceroots.org/  and "Growing in Grace" (which he co-hosts with Mike Kapler, when our Lord revealed His awesome grace to me.

I was at a point in my life where I felt very alone and very mis-understood in my Christian walk. It was reading these blogs and listening to the pod casts that I realized God is raising an army of people that will settle for nothing but the pure unadulterated Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The pod casts are of Mike and Joel having informal conversation about topics that I struggled to get my heart and polluted mind to accept. Just two mates sharing what God has revealed to them. These really helped me.

 

Anyway, back to my Skype call.

It is incredible how God puts people in your path. It felt as if I have known Joel for may years. I pray that the Father keeps us in contact with each other for many years to come. I am even trying to convince Joel and his family to come and visit us in sunny South Africa. How great would that be.

I am also supposed to get to America to visit two other very great friends of mine, Curtis and Mishka. I wonder how they are doing. Maybe I will give them a Skype call.

Dear friends...

Gods mighty revival fire is blowing, at the moment he is pouring out His power. A time of fulfillment of prophecy has come, "His fire will start on the east coast and spread through the entire land." Revival is here friends.

Already we are seeing sparks of the flame. Signs, wonders and miracles, and best of all God is manifesting His very presence among His beloved people.

We felt the Spirit speak to us to have a Fire Festival. It's a time of worshipping God, waiting on God, crying out to God. Expressing our hunger and thirst to Him, and then receiving a significant outpouring of His Spirit. We come as dry wood, and then let Him ignite and burn us!

There will be heavenly worship, angelic visitations and heavenly encounters. There will be healings, salvations and signs and wonders.

It will be a time of imparting and receiving. A time where mantles will be released. You will be fired up and commissioned by God Himself. A fire you will take with you to be released in your life.

We're sending a friend Rory Payn to receive an impartation from the "Lakefield Revival in Florida". All will be prayed for to receive this impartation.

"This is what the Lord is saying right now to people in this house.

 

"In the past revivals, only a few men and women rose up in signs and wonders and mighty miracles. They were so attacked and persecuted and targeted by the devil that many of them never made the end of their ministries. Most of them were destroyed by the on-going persecution. For to Me they are heroes. Some of them died alcoholics and some of them went into immorality. People who judge these people are absolutely insane".

 

We don't know the pressure that was on them 24 hours a day as they tried to pioneer and step out and do things but they were attacked by the major parts of the Body of Christ - they were attacked by the majority of the church. Yet they led hundreds of thousands - some of them millions - to Christ in their short lives. Oral Roberts made it through and is still alive today in his late 80's. He has led 10's of millions to Christ and has laid his hands personally on over 10 million people. Multitudes healed of cancer, cripples and blindness.

 

William Branham - a great signs and wonders healing evangelist but did not finish his race. One of the greatest ministries seen on the earth - William Branham. Yet he got into pride and was killed in a car accident in 1965. Kathryn Kuhlman died long before her time of exhaustion. Amiee Semple McPherson brutalised by men and criticised by the Pharisees. Jack Cole died and went mad. A A Allen criticised as an alcoholic. These are all heroes. I don't understand the courage it must have taken them to step out into a cynical world that hated them and mocked them and the church sat in their comfortable religious pews - large churches of thousands and mocked these saints of God who stepped out in miracles.

 

Those big churches were not worthy of the people I am talking about. Synagogues of the freed men. But what is going to happen in this revival - this is what the Spirit of God is saying;

 

"The glory will cover so extensively over the earth that there will not be an island that won't be covered. There won't be a city or a town or a village that won't be impacted by this wave. There will be so many believers rising up in signs and wonders that God will use so many and miracles will happen so frequently that the devil won't know who God is going to use next! He won't know who to target because millions will rise up in the supernatural and millions from synagogues of the freed men all around the world are going to break out of the religious governments of control and will come out of religious camps and find churches of grace and places of freedom that open themselves entirely to the glory of God.

 

Communities of believers that say we will not be offended at who God uses - neither will we have unbelief but we will open ourselves entirely to the glory of God and there will come millions from around the earth and will rise up and there will be an army of signs and wonders children and teenagers and men and women and old and young - all moving in signs and wonders and raising the dead, blind eyes, angelic visitations, visions and prophesying! Children and men and women and old and young - the devil won't know who to attack and if they attack one they are attacking us all! No one will be isolated in this wave of the glory - no one will be in signs and wonders on their own but millions are going to walk in them. There will be no big names or big name ministries - this will be the people of God!".

 

Now we have prophesied about this for a few decades but the truth is it has come now! It has come! It is not a season - the seasons are over! This is a new climate - a new dimension! This is the glory of God in the nations of the earth!".

 

Whether you agree or disagree with this prophecy, you cannot deny that something exciting is happening in heaven and is about to come to earth. God has great plans for His Bride - the Church and He will see them presented to Him glorious! And I am finally coming to the stage when I am so grateful to be alive NOW and have stopped wishing that I could go back and be alive during the Dales Bible Weeks 1970's or the Healing Revivals or whenever. I am alive NOW for a purpose! Come Lord! Let the fire fall!

Miraculous Healing of Multiple Sclerosis

 

This is a testimony of God's goodness and His desire to heal His people.

In June 2005 I had an MRI brain scan after suffering from optical neuritis which caused blurring of the vision in my left eye.  2 lesions were found on my brain but it was concluded that there were not enough lesions to properly diagnose that it was Multiple Sclerosis.
 
In July 2007, I experienced cold tingling sensations in my left arm and on the left side of my head.  My one leg also felt heavy and I became aware of this slight heaviness whenever I walked.  I went for further MRI brain and cervical scans.  The results showed 5 lesions on my brain and 1 on my spine and I was then diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  Multiple Sclerosis is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system.  Unfortunately in the worst case of Multiple Sclerosis, you could end up in a wheel chair. 
 
My neurologist, one of the top neurologists in SA, gave me the best advice that he could give based on his medical experienced.  He suggested that I go on medication that would cost me R9000 per month!
 
Although in some instances, medicine is good and can be used as part of the healing process, I had faith that God would heal me without any use of medication.  I decided to not take any medication and put my trust in Jehovah Rophe, the God who heals!
 
From the beginning of 2008, I noticed that my health began to improve.  I no longer needed afternoon naps and could push through in the evenings to later than 8pm…this was a breakthrough after suffering from chronic fatigue for a few months.
 
In my heart I believed that I was healed but had no proof to show it so I decided to go for a brain scan.  On 29 April 2008 I had another MRI brain scan.
 
The report read: "The lesion in the corpus callosum demonstrates less marked hyperintensity…There is no significant enhancement of these foci.  Of note, the previously noted pontine and parietal enhancing lesions are not clearly seen.  In addition, no new lesions have developed."
 
I body is healthy and strong and I give God all the glory for healing me.  I have not touched any medication and know that this is a miracle.  PRAISE GOD. GOD IS GOOD!
 
Over the last 6 months, we have experienced the wonderful presence of God in our church and prayer meetings.  I have just loved getting to know the Holy Spirit more intimately and experiencing the Glory of God.  I have had a revelation that it is God's perfect will to heal ALL people.  Acts 10:38 "You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached – how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing ALL who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him."
 
My conviction is that ALL sickness is from the devil and that God does not cause suffering nor does He allow suffering.  God's character is that He is a GOOD, JUST, LOVING God and He would never inflict suffering on His precious sons and daughters…He is a father to the fatherless and wants to lavish us with the BEST.
 
Matt 7:9-11 "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him."
 
Ask God for the desires of your heart and He will bless you because He put those desires there so they can be fulfilled!
 
We serve an amazing GOD so believe that He has heard your prayers and know that He is willing and so desires to answer them.

The promise, seeker, the power and the victory.

 

It would be tragic for us to come to the end of our time, only to find that what we thought was available for a future generation, was actually available for us now.

 

I've reduced almost my entire Christian experience and definition down to one thing…

 

"To be lead by the Holy Spirit"

 

It's much harder than it sounds, coz it relies on true relationship rather than keeping rules, which is easier to define and hold.

 

The promise of the Father.

 

The promise…what is it? 

 

Acts 1v1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 3After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

 

Where did the Father promise it?

 

Joel 2:28 'And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. 30I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 31The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. 32And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.

 

Who was the promise for? Young and old, men and woman…that pretty much covers everyone!

 

Acts 2v1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. 5Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. 7Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? 8Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? 9Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11(both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs--we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!" 12Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?" 13Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine. " 14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! 16No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17"`In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'

 

Was this a once off occurrence?

Peter's account of the filling of the Holy Spirit on the gentiles.

 

Acts 11v15 "As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. 16Then I remembered what the Lord had said: `John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' 17So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?" 18When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.

 

They received the same infilling.

 

This promise was not just for the believers gathered at Pentecost but for every believer.

 

Acts 2:39 And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."

 

We see this powerful filling, the promise of the Father is for all ages, all genders, and for every generation from the time of Pentecost.

 

The seeking nature of the spirit.

 

Genesis 1v1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters

 

Isaiah 55v1 "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. 2Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

 

Isaiah 55v6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

 

Luke 11v9 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 11"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

 

We see that knowing the Holy Spirit goes beyond mere head knowledge, but moves into the area of experience. We experience His presence and the we experience His working through us.

 

Why have need of the Holy Spirit?

1)      Acts 1:8 Power. Empowered to witness

 

It's arrogance in the extreme to expect to be able to do anything for the Lord, without the Empowering of the Holy Spirit…this is called works and flesh, and has no lasting fruit.

 

John 15. 

 

2)      Eph 1:7  17I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe

 

-          We gain wisdom

 

-          We gain revelation

 

-          We know Him better

 

-          We may know the hope to which were called

 

-          We may know our inheritance

 

-          We may have great power 

 

3)      We may have fruit:

 

Galatians 5v22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law

 

 

 

4)      Gifts of the spirit 

 

1 Cor 12v5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. 7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

 

Words of wisdom, knowledge, healing power, faith, miraculous power, prophecy, discernment etc…

 

Remember the promise is for all young and old, male and female, close and far off. 

 

5)       Victory over sin and desires! 

 

Galatians 5v16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

 

Galatians 5v24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires

 

(spirit brings this revelation.)

 

Friends its not principles and preaching of mans wise ways, but being filled with the person, presence and power of the spirit that will bring us to the place of victorious Christian living.

 

Let us then purpose in every area of our lives, personal lives and church lives, to be seeking and drinking of that which delights deeply, the Holy Spirit. Lets give Him time, lets give Him space, lets honor and revere Him deeply. But above all let us continually be filled, saturated by Him.

Praying for Rain:

 

Whilst driving the other day and thinking about the season we have been in and are still in, I thought of the words to describe it, being "Praying for rain".  I have then noticed that in our latest gatherings prayers & statement mentioning / asking for rain have become quite common.

 

I feel God wants us to enter a season of concerted, focused "praying for rain", the rain of His Holy Spirit, asking God to pour out His Spirit on and over us.  Why? 
a.) Because we need all He has for us if we are going to see the vision, plans, hopes we have in Him materialise.
b.) Because it will keep us free of our own agendas, preferences, histories & prejudices.  These "dry us out" instead of refreshing and energising us to the point where we find delight in serving God and His community.
c.) It will keep us in His perfect will, which is where we want to be anyway!
D.) It will also help us keep focused in our "life issues" and prevent us slipping into mediocrity and slothfulness – enemies hindering the advance of the Kingdom of God in our lives and consequently in out communities.

 

I have been and am continuing to ask God for greater manifestations of His power in our lives and in our gatherings.

 

I am "Praying for Rain" and ask you to join with me, praying in expectation and confidence because we know that we are praying in accordance with His will and those prayers He hears and answers.

 

I have not doubt!!!

End Time Promises standing today:
Joel 2:28 – " In last days …. pour out my Spirit on ALL people ….everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved …."
Ez 30:29 – " …. no longer hide my FACE for I will pour out my Spirit …."
Num 6:22 The LORD said to Moses, 23 "Tell Aaron and his sons, 'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: 24 "'"The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD turn his face towards you and give you peace."' 27 "So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them."

 

Was a time He hid His face – coz of idolatry, stubbornness, faithlessness ….
However The Face of God has turned towards us & He is shining upon us.
Doings so now in, "The Latter (Last) Days", & in more & more powerful displays of His glory. 
Bringing us "face to face" – He turns our face to face Him:

 

Possible, coz thro Jesus – removed:
1.)The terror of judgement & the Holiness of God –> fear of reproach = thro justification (see Scripture list on justification).
2.)The awful burden of the law – impossible to fulfil -> terror & dread.
3.)The arrogance of self-righteousness – can't have honest open relationship –> it demands & we feel we are owed (reverse demant). Counted against us.

 

Jesus takes us into the "Face to Face" with God – He is the "Face to Face" with God:
2Co 4:6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

 

To be face to face with God is to be in His presence – is possible & is a benefit we inherit at rebirth – adopted as children with a birthright – face to face in His presence.

 

We need to learn to find rest in His presence -> from a place of rest we "work" for Him -> doing what pleases Him.  We do coz we have favour with God in Jesus Christ – we realise (have revalation) that we have favour we "become" pleasing -> to Him, to our siblings & to those searching for the "desire of the nations".
(Heb 4:9, 1 Jn 3:19)

 

So onto Gifting and Manifestation of the Spirit (fruit of face to face):
"Spirit" of Pastoral Gifting.
Of receiving a heavenly download for loving care!
How to Pastor each other:
Shepherd – What about the Good Shepherd (Jn 10) = basis & key.
What was it about a shepherd that he would lose his life for his / masters sheep.
"A shepherd in the Near East was responsible for watching out for enemies trying to attack the sheep, defending the sheep from attackers, healing the wounded and sick sheep, finding and saving lost or trapped sheep, loving them, and sharing their lives and to earn their trust."
A shepherd "lead", walked in front & his sheep followed coz they knew him & trusted him – of Jesus & the same of pastors in the faith:
Pastor <-> Teacher Gifting (Eph 4):
In the NT one who teaches concerning the things of God, and the duties of man
Of those who by their great power as teachers draw crowds around them i.e. John the Baptist, Jesus.
Of Jesus & the apostles, and of Paul.
Of those who in the religious assemblies of the Christians, undertook the work of teaching, with the special assistance of the Holy Spirit
Jesus = perfect Theology (Bill Johnson) – He is the perfect study of God – if you want to know about God, study Jesus -> in word & in Spirit (under His council = very NB – awareness of this opens the door to ).
Jesus = what a "man" can do when filled with the Holy Spirit -> why He said we would do greater things …. He know what He was talking about!!!!.
To excel in the gifting of Pastor / Teacher -> needs to come from the heart.
Could teach 10 / 20 / 50 principles on pasturing & mostly likely will – all good – all from scripture, but that would just be head knowledge.
Knowledge puffs up – encounters humble.
Need heart impartation -> in His presence, under "ministry" & time in the Holy Scriptures.
We need openness before the Holy Spirit -> for impartation (heart change) & the gifting to flow.
Product = a heart conviction -> for God -> resolute / steadfast / faithful = all fruits of conviction -> impartation & inspiration.
We are "all" sheep & we all need leading, protecting, feeding, watering etc etc -> even Jesus was shepherded -> only did what His Father did!!!  The Father lead and Jesus followed -> knew His voice etc etc.
Jesus is OUR Good Shepherd (Jn 10) & as we hear and follow Him, we "shepherd" and serve each other.
Holy Spirit puts us into community – kind of pasture -> safety, shelter, unity etc.
There is a "shepherding" function and then a "shepherding" lifestyle.
1 Tim 3:2 = set heart -> overseer (shepherd) -> desire a noble task.
Comes with qualifications -> all pre-done -> "… must be…" etc etc.
Key = "just set your heart" -> before God so that He can powerfully work.
We want to live in the lifestyle of looking out for each other -> is who we are and not a set of rules & principles.
Our lives and not just a function -> function slips way to easily into fundamentalism / law -> function breeds ownership -> shepherds become lords … etc etc.

 

Where are the Pastor / teachers?
On who is resting the manifestation of the Spirit?
Who wants impartation of the Gifting.
We are a community built around an awareness of & love for each other..
Our intention …. commission & release!!!!
