Christ redeemed us
Gal 3:12 But the Law is not of faith; but, "The man who does these things shall live in them." 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone having been hanged on a tree"); 14 so that the blessing of Abraham might be to the nations in Jesus Christ, and that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Hey Guys
Sorry about the difficulty in adding comments. We are still new at this blog thing.
Hope all is sorted out now.
Bless you big time
This is a tough one (for those who beleive that grace is a subject)to swallow. But to those who undrstand grace, it is clear. I Believe that the curse is not being able to understanding or identifying you true identity in Christ.
If you look at the text it clearly states "curse of the law." As in Deuteronomy 28v15-68.
Very interesting point though. I suppose not knowing who you are in Christ is a curse.
The Greek for law is translated:
νόμος nomos nom'-os
From a primary word νέμω nemō (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals); law (through the idea of prescriptive usage), generally (regulation), specifically (of Moses [including the volume]; also of the Gospel), or figuratively (a principle): - law.
Just a thought - the curse of the law is sin??
Romans 5:20:
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
Romans 5:13:
(For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
I Corinthians 15:56:
The sting of death [is] sin, and the strength of sin [is] the law.
Galatians 4:24:
which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage,
More LAW = More SIN
GRACE = FREEDOM,LIBERTY and the list goes on
OH that the church would have eyes to see and ears to hear.
